So, I found out why my new plane ticket cost $210 more...I was pretty much in business class as I flew back!! The $210 bought me huge leather seats with retarded leg room, and the coolest touch screen entertainment thing at my seat. It was pretty much a DVD player that played a huge variety of movies, TV shows, and other stuff. My 5 hours on the plane just flew by (no pun intended) with "The Illusionist" and a few eps of Frasier and Everyone Loves Raymond. I also chatted with some cool korean lady doctor who sat beside me. She was only 'bout 27, so I guess kinda my peer, so we had common stuff we could talk about.
When I got off the plane, it wasn't even mentioned how I missed my flight or anything like that. My mom was pretty cool about it. She even joked about how I was living it big in my fancy business class flight a few days later. Since I've been back, it's only been fun, good times, and crazy food. My grandma who had a stroke this summer was healthier than ever. She could barely stand when I left back in September, but now she walks around like nothing ever happened. Oh how God has been faithful!
Because I missed my flight, I also got to spend an extra few days with some good friends in London, and had a very meaningful chat with one of my housemates. I also got a chance to pray together with the people that were still in London at the time. These opportunities sometimes don't come along very often during the busy school year. It was such a blessing to me the few extra days in London, and who knows what other blessings were unleashed during my time there!
The Lord is good! When I look in retrospect, He has come through so many times in my life, and has done so once again this Christmas season. I can't help but to put more and more trust into Him. Every crappy situation He puts me in, I leave with a level up in faith points. It just brings me so much joy, to know of how great our God is.
